What is your favorite brand of cars? For me, it is a complex matter. Overall, I’d have to say Mazda. Mopar, Ford and Volvo are also up there for me.

Ford - I really believe that Ford Performance/SVT has made some of the best drivers cars ever.

Mopar - I love the history, passion and design of the brand. Past and present.

Volvo - I enjoy the design of Volvo and the fact that they have never really been “mainstream”. They just exist, doing their own thing, and I respect that. Worked well for Saab. Oh wait.

Mazda:

I have owned 2 Mazda’s so far, and plan on owning more in the future.

Mazda makes, in my opinion, the best “cars”. If you just consider a car as something that has four wheels and moves under it’s own power. I am dumbstruck that everyone doesn’t buy 3's, 6's and the CX’s. Every time I see a Mazda, it catches my eye. Even CX vehicles.

Mazda makes up an alarming amount of my photos too.

If we’re talking about total number of models that “speak” to me, that would be Jaguar. I don’t think they’ve made a single car since their founding t hat I wouldn’t want to at least experience, if not own.

Nissan. I just really love the bold, impossibly smart, street-savv y vehicles they currently produce. Like the road-trip ready Rouge Sport, ready to break routine at a moments notice and inject a dash of high-octane fun into your life.

I don’t have much experience outside of US domestic brands, and of course my brother’s Saab. Though I’ve gotten to know my Mustang very well over the past 9 years, I grew up on ’80s and ’90s GM products, and that’s where I feel most comfortable. (The Saab really is a fascinating car though. )

But I’m too open-minded to be beholden to any one brand. I hear good things about ’90s Hondas and Toyotas, and might find myself with a new favorite some day.

I only look at cars/wagons/coupes lineup of any brand, don’t care for any their crossovers. Having said that-

BMW was THE brand for me till 2013.

Right now I would say Genesis.

I also think Mazda now makes the list, mainly because of the Mazda6 with the 2.5T, and I have ridden in a CX-9 and CX-5 and they’re very good inside. I am loving their new design direction, I am also interested in seeing the new Mazda3 based on the Kai concept

As an entire brand, I’m with you on Mazda. I’d go and buy a new Miata right now if I needed a fun little car.

But, there’s something about Volkswagens that I just can’t put my finger on. I love the GTI.

I used to be a die-hard Ford guy, but as I’ve gotten older, and as I’ve spent more time around other vehicles I’ve become much more open minded and don’t really “have a brand” any more. There’s cars and trucks that I like, and ones that I don’t.

As for motorcycles I’ve kind of become a Yamaha guy, but not really out of brand loyalty, but because they just happen to have a lineup of bikes (both past and  present ) that is chock full of extremely compelling bikes. When I’m looking at new/different bikes Yamaha always has exactly what I want, and is usually better (IMO) than the competition, prices are usually better to. Of course there’s still ton’s of other bikes from other manufactures that I want too.

I’m a Mazda guy too, I've owned 4.5 so far, and while I'm getting ready to ditch my NC I'm sure I'll own more in the future. Second choice would be hyukiasis.

5 years ago I would have said Honda. now IDK. I like my BMW a lot, My Mitsubishi was a blast but a headache, also Mitsu is dead in the water now.

I I’ll have to stick with Honda. over the last 5 decades they probably have the most cars I would actually want to own and drive. from the s and z600s to a new Ridgeline and a lot of cars in between. you’ ve got 6 gens of Civic, plus 3 gens of CRX counting the Del Sol , all 5 gens of Prelude, also most all Acuras except the MDX , the third , and fifth gen Accord, the first two gens of CRV, and three gens of Fit. The original I nsight.

Yeah Hond a has made a ton of cars I’d gladly drive all the way from their first cars to their current line up. Even if the Civic has lost it’s soul.

My love for Hondas is in the fact that they’ re cars have been fun, small, economical, practical, good looking, and easy to modify.

For a lower middle class kid who grew up around Fords, and Buicks, Honda s were cool, foreign , stylish, something to aspire to but some thing within reach. Now I’ve had my Hondas and now I have the means to have something “ better” altho my wife still has a Honda which we picked because its economical , but also not horrible like a Chevy aveo, or any oth er little hatchback that gets 40 mpg . I’d still gladly drive a Honda and just enjoy having a car that is both fun to drive AND economical. Also they have always had better interiors then theyre competition both in layout and quality. Just look at design and the plastic of a 1991 Civic and compare it to any other car from the era. Ownig a 91 Mitsubishi really made me appreciate this.

Oh I also forgot the S2000, a car I do still aspire to own. It’s the only car to ever out Miata the Miata. too back it got t he axe.

basically they a GOOD cars for the money, and most of them are enjoyable to drive as well. I think Mazda in 2018 is what Honda was in the 90s. best designs, best driver experience , for those who are more budget minded.

Big Toyota fan, always was, can’t beat the reliability and start every time.. kind of boring though.

On the other hand a huge life goal is to have an aircooled vw.. full of style and personality, probably won’t start though, or might catch fire if it does.

I dunno, I’ve kinda “slept around” with various makes. My opinion on GM is low due to having a trio of GM junkers that were on their last legs, and I’m not the Honda fanboi I once was because of the issues I’ve had with our MDX.

I guess I’ll just say I like Ford and VW, because when I’ve had used models of their cars, they didn’t leave me stranded.

Oh, you meant cars. I don’t think I have one, really. I’ve owned Volkswagen, Volvo, Cadillac, Mercury, Dodge, Ford, and Lincoln. The Cadillac was easily my favorite out of all of them.

Out of everyone out there today, I have to say Genesis probably has my favorite lineup. There’s cars from other manufacturers that I like better, but Genesis has the consistency.
